Durante su intervención, el Gobernador de Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, señaló que “México Active and Sport Expo convertirá a Guanajuato y a León, en un referente del bienestar, de la salud y la nutrición en México y América Latina. Estamos hablando de un evento de nivel global, dedicado a la industria deportiva, y con el sello de expertos en exposiciones internacionales […] Pero también estamos hablando de la reactivación de la industria de ferias y convenciones; de la reactivación económica y de la reactivación turística, con toda la derrama de beneficios que esto significa para todos los sectores de la sociedad”.
Al tomar la palabra, Bernd Rohde mencionó que “gracias a la alianza entre el Gobierno de Guanajuato, Hannover Fairs México e Italian Exhibition Group, tendremos un evento que impulse a la industria del deporte, que visibilice el gran potencial del mercado mexicano y una los valores del deporte en favor de la salud, el desarrollo sostenible y un futuro de bienestar para México y la región latinoamericana”.
Por su parte, el Presidente Municipal de León, Héctor López Santillana, detalló que: “El mayor reto que tenemos los gobiernos, industrias y sociedad en general es reinventarnos y adaptarnos a esta nueva realidad que requiere del trabajo conjunto. […] La pandemia no ha sido obstáculo para seguir avanzando como un destino atractivo, competitivo y divertido".
Al presentar todas las actividades de la exhibición, Thorsten Hofmann resaltó que “MACS 2021 contará con 20,000 visitantes, 100 expositores de marcas líderes nacionales e internacionales, un programa de conferencias y demostraciones en vivo, así como diversas actividades físicas en el Distrito León MX, a la par de un concurso de fisicoculturismo, un medio maratónuna noche de boxeo, así como el reto 30 x 30 GTO”.
